The Residence
The 521 is a faith based sober living residence for men located in Dickinson, TX (East end of town). The exact location is not posted as it is not open to the public (approved residents only). The residence is a fully furnished (3) bedroom, (2) bath unit and accommodates anywhere from (5) to (6) men at any given time (2 men to a room). The goal of this residence is to provide a community living space for men who are ready to take the next step by transitioning into a more self-disciplined recovery structure. The 521 provides an affordable living solution along with the support and accountability of other men who are at the same point in their recovery.
With this self-disciplined recovery structure, there are no requirements placed on residents to show proof of outside meeting attendance, however the residents are encouraged to attend meetings and church. Residents ARE required to attend the in-house daily Christian devotional meetings. Each resident will be assigned household duties while residing at The 521 to do their part in keeping up with the house by the on-site house manager. The residents are required to abide by the rules of the house for the benefit and overall well being of all the men in the house and take personal responsibility upon themselves while at The 521 to create a environment to help one another achieve their goals and hold each other accountable.
